It’s now Day 2 and below is my progress from day 1.
Progress of Day 1
- I managed to drink a total of 9 glasses of water, 1 more than the planned amount.
- With the 10km of walking, I managed to clock up 13,200 steps which equates to 10.06 km. I just about made that number. Today’s 10km target might be a little more difficult due to the Irish weather (raining again).
- Went to bed at 9.30pm but watched a little Netflix and turned the laptop off at 10.45pm. I think I clocked up about 7 hours of sleep. I am hoping to do better this evening.
- Dinner was a little disappointing and I need to make more of an effort to cook something healthy
Day 2 (morning)
I woke this morning at 6.10am to start day 2 of my plan and I was so hungry. I managed to avoid my routine of 2 cups of coffee before I get the bus and had a glass of water instead. By the time I made it to the office I could have eaten a full dinner but went for the usual poached egg, sausage, hash brown, and a coffee. I’m hoping this gets me to lunch.
I am going to have to throw in some sort of exercises on top of the planned walking. I am really feeling old and inflexible.
The dinner plan tonight is garlic and red pepper baked chicken breast – Yum.
